1. Open a new text file in Notepad, Texmate, or a similar program and past the following line into it:

#ssponsor, .footer_ad, .banner_ad, .social_ad, .ad_capsule, .sidebar_ads, .adcolumn, .admarket_ad, .sidebar_item.sponsor, .emu_sponsor, .home_sponsor, .UIHomeBox_Sponsored { display: none !important; }

1. Save the file to your user directory or My Documents folder, and call it ‘usercontent.css’.

Note:If you are using TextEdit on a Mac, you will need to go to the Format menu and click “Make Plain Text” before you save the file. Otherwise, you will not be able to save it as a .css file.

1. Depending on what browser you are using, this step will vary.

For Internet Explorer users:
Go to Tools->Internet Options, the click on Accessibility down at the bottom right. Then under User Stylesheet check the box ‘Format documents using my stylesheet’, and then click browse. Locate and select the ‘usercontent.css’ file you saved earlier. Hit Open, then Ok, and Ok again, and you’re done. Once you reload Facebook, the ads should be gone.

The first reason Tozer gives for studying God’s attributes is, “God gives to human life its only significance”. You have to believe that God is the creator of all things and all things he has created, including time itself. Understanding the concept of God is essential to being obedient and discerning His will for our lives. A second reason to understand God’s attributes is for our own spiritual protection. We must know what God is like, because mankind fell as soon as we lost a right concept of God. See Rom 1:18-25
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. Rom 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. Rom 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Rom 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, Rom 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Rom 1:24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, Rom 1:25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! A third reason to understand God’s attributes is to develop faith and trust in Him. Actions speak louder than words and if we know the character and reputation of God then we know why He is God and have assurance that He is faithful to us.
We need to examine ourselves against the attributes of God and his Word to restore the dignity of true Christianity and the local church.

We have lost the seriousness out of our preaching and have become silly”; our reading material lacks depth; it has become “religious fodder” which should be thrown out”; Our songs are lacking in theological content and tend to be frivolous”.
